If you have all the info that accompanies your videos already available, instead of submitting it one by one you can use our bulk uploading process.
Preparing the data
We have a template ready in a Google Spreadsheet, that you can copy and fill in.
These are the same fields that are made available when you add a video using OZ Creator, and we recommend you read up on the Add video process to familiarize yourself with those fields. The template also includes information on what information is required for different kind of videos.
Note that the template referred to above is read only. You must be logged in to Google Drive in order to make a copy - simply select File and Make a copy...
The video files
If the number of videos is not that high, the lease overhead would be to manually upload each of them using our web interface, once the metadata has been imported. If the number is high, you can have OZ pull it from your servers (using HTTP, Aspera or FTP), or use one of our Bulk video deliverymethods - that's basically direct upload to S3, FTP. For us to know which video goes with what title, you put the direct URL (if we are to fetch it) or filename (if you deliver to us) in one of the columns in the spreadsheet - that's all it takes!
Custom video stills
If you would like to have custom stills that you have already prepare, that can be done in exactly the same way as the video files.
Submitting the data
Send us a link to your spreadsheet once it's ready, and we'll make a test run of it, and given that everything is valid, import it to your channel. If there are some problems, we'll help you to clear it up.
Reviewing and publishing
One everything is imported, the last step is to review the data in OZ Creator, and publishing it. In the video overview, you can select all the videos you like to have published, and drag them to the Published option on the left hand side.
Automated import of videos
You have all this info in your own system or database, and can export it in some automated way? Let's talk! When we receive the spreadsheets, we simply convert them to a JSON document and feed it to an import script, that validates the data and talks to our API. You could create the JSON yourself, or even use our API directly. Just contact us, and let's decide on the next steps.
